Inside Acronym – December 3, 2015
Meet Acronym’s Gregg Manias
When did you join Acronym?
I started in March of 2015
Where were you previously, what was your title and what clients did you work with?
While at New Jupiter Media my title was Senior Campaign Manager. I worked on Asure Software, DPS Nutrition & Armstrong Steel, among many other accounts.
What is your title at Acronym and which clients do you work for?
My title is PPC Manager and I currently work on Scotts/Miracle-Gro, Humana, New York & Company & New York Presbyterian.
What are your specific responsibilities?
To oversee my teams’ strategy and execution of the overall paid search activity. I also have to provide my clients with POV’s on new and emerging tactics, as well as explaining what tools will best fit their strategy.
What do you consider the most interesting things you do at work?
To me the most interesting part is how much experience I get with Excel and how my expanded knowledge with it has really improved my data science skills. This knowledge growth has allowed me to start spotting trends quicker than I could of in previous years. Overall, the most interesting part of my work is the people at Acronym. There is always someone with a unique and intelligent view on trending topics in our industry.
What do you like to do best when you are not working?
When I’m not working I like to relax by watching movies and cooking. I’ve always been partial to cooking Greek food (Yia Yia would be proud), but over the last few months I’ve been expanding my ability to cook Thai & Vietnamese dishes.
