When did you join Acronym?

I joined Acronym in March of 2016.

What is your title at Acronym and which clients do you work for?

My title is SEO Strategist and my current concentration is on hospitality clients such as Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts and Denihan.

What are your specific responsibilities?

They can include anything from keyword research to fielding ad hoc requests to implementing fixes and optimizations on a client’s site. All of this is done with the end goal of encouraging higher visibility (and ultimately conversions) in search engines. There are quite a few variables at play in the SEO world, so day-to-day responsibilities are always subject to change, which I enjoy.

What do you consider the most interesting things you do at work?

Probably brainstorming tactics and strategies. I view SEO as a unique combination of science and art, so this alone never fails to amaze (and occasionally amuse) me. Having the right mindset is key when you are trying to play nice with what is arguably the world’s most advanced artificial intelligence!

What do you like to do best when you are not working?

I’m a pretty big technology nerd so it’s not uncommon to find me immersed in something related to tech. I also thoroughly enjoy non-fiction books/movies, coffee, drinks with friends, new foods, retro gaming and nearly every style of music under the sun. And, yes, catching up on the latest in the ever-changing world of SEO and digital marketing.
