I came onboard on July first, 2014.

Where were you previously?

I was Vice President of SEO at Havas Media.

What were your responsibilities at Havas?

It built their entire SEO practice and then managed the team. I also helped to bring in new business. In my spare time, I wrote POVs and White Papers about best practices in SEO.

What clients did you work with at Havas?

I was fortunate to work with a broad array of great companies, like Choice Hotels, Fidelity, LVMH, Volvo, Tyson, Huntington Bank, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts, Reynolds, Otsuka and Dish Network.

What do you consider the most interesting aspect of digital advertising overall and the current state of search marketing?

It’s always changing, which means there are always new things to learn. The current state of search is that mobile is dominant and there is a need to create high-quality content. The industry is changing daily.

What do you like to do best when you are not working?  

Traveling and spending time with my family.

The hero image is not attention-grabbing enough. The color and imagery is a bit dull. Could we have something more dynamic? Either something that reads “digital marketing” or a workplace image with people in a creative meeting?
