For the second year in a row, Acronym CEO Selina Eizik is one of DMN’s 40 Under 40 winners!
As the name implies, the 40 Under 40 awards celebrate exceptional achievements in marketing by executives under the age of 40.
The 2017 honor comes as Acronym evolves into an AI-led search agency forging innovations in cognitive computing. Notably, it also marks Selina’s second year on the list. Similarly, she was a 2016 honoree thanks to her efforts to embrace technology- and data-based marketing strategies.
“The 2017 crop of up-and-coming marketers was one of the heaviest in talent that DMN has ever seen,” DMN said in a blog post. “It’s safe to say that our winners represent the best in class. These high-powered executives under the age of 40 are truly changing the landscape of contemporary marketing and are paving the way for constant innovation.”
Selina and her fellow honorees were lauded at the awards ceremony November 30 at the Dream Downtown in New York.
“To be included again in such prestigious company, along with executives from the likes of Epsilon, IMAX, Comcast, SAP and Cisco, is an absolutely huge honor,” Eizik said. “I recognize the remarkable, constant levels of innovation led by my industry peers. And the timing is exciting for Acronym, by the way, as we advance as a next generation search agency…we’re excited about the strides our clients are making in data-driven marketing and are proud to work with them.”
Selina joined Acronym in 2001 as its second employee after founder Anton Konikoff and she has been CEO since 2012. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Management and Concentration in Information Technology from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and a Master’s degree from New York University.
“After a thirty-year career in traditional and digital marketing, I was looking to join an independent agency where I could surround myself with brilliance and use my experience to take them to new heights. I met Selina almost eight years ago and instantly knew how special she was – and that I had to work with her,” said President and COO Michael Bruh. “I’ve been lucky to be able to learn from her every day and watch her grow as well. Her two-time 40 Under 40 nomination is well deserved. Now I just need to show her life gets even better after 40! Congrats, Selina.”
Indeed: Congratulations, Selina!
