Web Application Developer
We are looking for a dedicated Web Application Developer to manage individual paid search campaigns.
Overview
Specifically, a PHP developer is needed to participate in the development and deployment of internal and external applications. The Developer will work in a team environment and contribute to constant upgrades and maintenance to our Client's existing systems, as well as the development of new applications.
Responsibilities
- Develops innovative on-line tools, strategies and methods to continuously improve agent's use and their service to members.
- Contributes to ongoing development and planning of the Agency tool set.
- Manages projects from inception through completion, to include project plan development, presentation development, preparation of agendas, timelines, and meeting facilitation.
- Assist in efforts to recruit and train additional web development staff.
- Collaborate with team members to generate innovative solutions for clients.
Qualifications
- 2+ Years experience developing web-based applications.
- 2+ years working with and understanding web interface usability design issues.
- Strong experience with web development tools and technologies such as HTML, XML, CSS, AJAX, and Javascript.
- Strong experience with server-side scripting, especially with PHP. Python, Perl, Java experience a plus.
- Strong understanding of SQL and knowledge of relational database concepts.
- Competency with Apache/UNIX preferred.
Graphic Designer
We are looking for a dedicated Web Designer to design and maintain on-line dynamic content and web based applications.
Overview
Responsible for high-level design and implementation of various aspects of our online presence, such as web user interface design, page layouts, promotional landing pages and other online components for our services, as well as occasional print pieces.
Responsibilities
- Work with the Search team to design user flows, wire frames, page layouts and prototypes for new and existing online tools.
- Create a design strategy based on understanding user, business, and functional requirements.
- Contributes to ongoing development and planning of the company’s online tool set.
- Work collaboratively with Product Managers, Developers, & QA throughout the design and development process to ensure that the details around user interaction journeys are specified.
Qualifications
- Strong design portfolio. Must exemplify understanding of typography, usability, color and layout fundamentals, etc.
- Strong experience in designing usable web-based interfaces for consumer facing web site and applications.
- Strong Experience working with and understanding web interface usability design issues.
- Strong experience with web development tools and technologies such as HTML, XML, CSS, AJAX, and Javascript.
- Strong competency with Industry Standard Web-Development Software: Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Fireworks, Flash (ActionScript preferred)
