Company History

Acronym Media was founded in 1995 by search marketing pioneer Anton E. Konikoff. Since then, Acronym has grown from a start-up into a global Keyword-Driven Marketing™ agency, headquartered in New York's landmark Empire State Building with operations in the U.S., U.K., Germany, Brazil, Russia and Singapore. Consistently rated as a "Top 10 Search Engine Marketing Agency" by Advertising Age, Acronym offers its Clients over 15 years of search marketing experience and a distinct approach to enterprise-wide keyword optimization.

Acronym’s KDM™ framework – introduced in 2007 – places topmost importance on the language and keywords customers use and understand to help global Clients build effective and scalable marketing programs. Guided by real-time, granular keyword intelligence, Acronym's experts drive cross-media optimization and craft enterprise-level, large-scale, multilingual SEO, paid search, contextual and other digital keyword marketing programs.

In 2009, Acronym introduced a new sister company: ROI Labs, a global web analytics consulting firm dedicated to helping Clients realize concrete, measurable returns on their analytics investments. Borne out of Acronym’s award-winning Analytics & Insights group, ROI Labs specializes in analytics integration, landing page testing, conversion optimization and site usability.

Acronym's extensive Client roster includes some of the world's largest and most successful companies, including Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, SAP, BMW, HP, Priceline.com, Sony, Nokia, Yves Saint Laurent, The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, Sirius Satellite Radio and Humana, among others.
