Global Headquarters Location:
Acronym Media’s headquarters are on the 55th floor of the Empire State Building in midtown Manhattan. The ESB was originally completed in 1931 as part of the New Deal, and is currently the tallest building in New York City. Besides its fame for withstanding giant gorilla attacks and Ron Howard movies, it’s also a great place to work and watch the sun set.
Fun Facts:
- 102 stories (80 of office space), 1,472’ full height
- The antenna at the top is also a mooring point for blimps
- The lights are often codes for special events or visiting dignitaries
- When a small plane crashed into the ESB in 1945, an elevator operator survived a drop of 75 stories – still a world record
